The Contract Manager is responsible for the evaluation, negotiation and management of contracts in accordance with Vena Energy’s contract policies and procedures using advanced contract management knowledge, as well as effective conflict resolution when handling high-profile disputes and claims, and ensuring compliance to established contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with other commercial, technical, project management teams to ensure that the overall onshore/offshore wind development is successfully procured and delivered
Provide expertise in contract execution and management, collaborative contracting and contract performance, contract variation and amendment guidance, and commercial claims.
Be involved in delivering contract management and administration of relevant packages during the planning, development, and construction phases
Support PM team in preparing RFQ and tender document
Support the Procurement Team in contract negotiations and execution of the EPCI, O&M, WTG Supply, and other related contracts.
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and bring learnings back into new project strategies
Develop and implement plans to sustain and improve capability for contract management.
Document control relating to the contract
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Engineering, Procurement, Law, or other technical discipline
Experience
5-10 years of EPC working experience as procurement or contract management
Renewable energy business experience preferred
SKILLS
Strong contract management capability
Implementing and effectively managing major projects contracting structures (e.g. EPC)
Strong negotiating and claims resolution skills
Good communication skills to work with other project/technical team members
Strong time-management
Good to have
Experience in tender and contract negotiation for turbine procurement or EPC contract of wind farm project
